Behavioral Adaptations: There're many adaptations that giraffes do like the ones in the picture. This is the behavior adaptations of the giraffe. Giraffes normally live in packs of 10 to 20 other giraffes. Herds will include either all females, all males, females with young caff, or mixed gender and age. Research shows that female giraffes are more social than male giraffes, some even are seen alone in the wild. Giraffes eat and drink in the morning and in the evening. Then when they go to sleep, they sleep standing up with there heads resting on there legs. Adult males gain dominance by sparring with other male giraffes. Sparring is when two giraffes stand straight up parallel to each other. They then swing there heads, aiming there horns, at the opponent aiming for the neck or somewhere they will get injured or hurt.
